OK, so Noah's landed the ark and is letting all the critters go free,
 admonishing them to go forth and multiply.  All the animals fly, crawl, or
 walk away, except for two snakes.
 
 Noah said to the snakes, "Why do you not go forth and multiply as I have
 commanded you?"
 
 The snakes said, "I am sorry, great Noah, but we cannot multiply, as we are
 adders."
 
 Noah nodded understanding and took an axe to a nearby tree, quickly chopping
 it down and constructing a table from the wood.  He said unto the snakes,
 "Look. I have made you a table of logs, with which you may multiply, being
 adders."
 
 Amen.
